I'm sick of the stupid underdog thing. The Mets should go into 2009 confident that they are the 'team to beat' which is getting to be a pretty worn out phrase in the NL East. Screw Philly and the horses they rode in on. Success last year does not equal success this year. No reason to talk them up or stroke their egos. They get off on that. Treat them like the whiny little brothers they are, and abuse them. I want the Mets to respond like they're clueless about the team in general. "Cole Hamels? Who's he?" "Rollins?
