Welcome to the New Y2K

Hey everyone,

So as you can see, some things are different around here. The black background, the generic blogger form, the .blogspot URL, gone, gone and gone. We'll remember them fondly, always.

In their place is a website which a buddy of mine from college, Oren, developed. To Oren, Sip, Cheddar, Lou, Chris, Mase, Dan, Tonks and I all give our sincerest thanks. Oren agreed to help us with this project completely free of charge, and for that we are very much appreciative. There is no chance in hell we'd have been able to make this happen on our own.

As for you all out there, we hope you like what you see, and we hope you'll continue checking in with Y2K every day. New threads, same Mets love and Yankee bashing. Feels good to be home.

The new site is OUTSTANDING! Excellent job! Love the colors and the header is great!

One question:
Where is A-Rod's purse?

The site looks fantastic.

In response to Met Fan Since 75's question: I'm almost certain that baseball rules prohibit the batter or baserunner from carrying a purse so presumably A-Rod leaves the purse in the closet. (And let's face it, you already knew that and you're only raising the issue because his good looks make you and everyone else in the world jealous.)
