I didn't work Friday night. I didn't work Saturday night. I didn't work Sunday afternoon.

I worked tonight. Thank the Lord for DVR.

The best part of the videotaped celebration? Happy Pedro. And it's not even close.

Mets fan since '75...

So, what happened between this one and the last one?

Mike Scioscia
Darryl and E in LA
Torborg, Admiral Saberhagen, earplugs, and fireworks.
Hundley!
Oh no, Hundley's hurt!
I don't want that guy, he has a rep for not hitting the big HR. I want Hundley back!
That guy turned the franchise around!
Casey breaks his bat in frustration in the bottom of the ninth.
Finley jumps, Berman says "IT'S OVER!"
Ball four, game over, NLCS over, 1999 season over.
Bobby Jones bids the Doggie's team adieu.
Payback for '85.
Al throws one pitch too many.
Kevin Appier, Mo Vaughn, and "Take That Roger Clemens!"
The Rally Monkey (not Met related, but always worth mentioning!).
20 years old and the hamstring is always pulled? He's much ado about nothing, trade him for a proven commodity.
20 years old, and he and the guy standing next to him are the face of the Mets (hopefully for years to come).

A division title is a big thing, and we've seen a lot of baseball since the last one. And a lot of it has been hard to watch. But not this year.

Take it in, it may be a long time until we're here again!

Savor it, Met fans, you've earned it!

Words from Eighty-Six for Ought-Six:

"I have one theory in hitting and that is 'Thou shall not pass without offering,' and that's what I did."
